Circle of Love Card Ministry
Our purpose is to bring glory to God as we send cards to uplift and encourage members of the Christ United’s family. All cards contain scripture and are signed by a team member. We pray for each person as we prepare their card. We meet on Tuesday morning at the church. For more info, contact Terry Seager at (843) 424-2612 or email@example.com.
Lay Pastor Ministry
Lay Pastors are those who feel called to minister in a pastoral way, walking with people during hard times in their lives. Lay Pastors are committed to learning through ongoing bi-monthly training and how to represent Christ United, the Pastor, and most of all Jesus Christ in their relationships with others. For more information contact Joan Matejceck at (301) 643-2045 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Safe Arms Ministry
Safe Arms offers first aid medical help during services and other times when Christ United is holding special events at the church. All have been trained as nurses, first aid workers, firemen, or first respondent ambulance. If you have medical training, please contact Debbie Causey at debsc50yahoo.com.
Prayer Shawl Ministry
Prayer shawls are important gift we offer to people undergoing difficult times in their lives through health, grief, or other issues. They serve as a reminder that they are being prayed for and loved through the dedication of servants who use their gifts knitting, crocheting or sewing these shawls. For more information contact Melanie Leschnik at (571) 217-5384 or email@example.com.
Using the Prepare Enrich Inventory tools, pre-marital counseling is offered by trained facilitators who administer the inventory and then meet with the couple for up to 6 meetings. We believe this is the best counseling to prepare couples for married life. For more information contact Jane Pearce at firstname.lastname@example.org or 843-236-6201.
